GD Paving recently completed a garden landscaping project in South Devon. To begin with, we transformed a sloped garden into a beautifully tiered space.
This full-service build required expert planning, structural groundwork, and precise coordination across multiple landscaping elements in order to achieve a high-quality result.
Initially, we carried out essential groundworks and installed strong metal foundations. As a result, this created a stable base for all future landscaping stages.
Following this, we shaped the terrain and levelled key areas. In addition, we created gentle gradients to maximise usable space across several tiers.
Subsequently, we installed underground drainage and electrical conduits. These systems ensure long-term functionality and allow for future lighting upgrades.
Afterwards, garden edging and fencing frameworks were added. Each time, elements were aligned precisely with the new levels and contours of the landscape.
Furthermore, we carefully built step structures to allow safe, stylish movement between tiers. These linked all areas together with ease and flow.
Finally, we laid durable gravel and stone coverings. This finish created a clean, modern look that is both practical and low-maintenance.
To complete the project, we installed step lighting. Not only did this enhance evening use and increase safety, but it also added a dramatic visual highlight.
The client was thrilled with the result — a multi-level garden that is perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying year-round.
