At GD Paving, we recently completed a full garden re-design project in South Devon, transforming a tired and uneven outdoor space into a beautifully tiered and functional garden. This multi-discipline landscaping service included everything from initial groundwork to structural enhancements, tailored specifically to the customer’s vision.
The goal was to create a more open and versatile base that the client could later personalise with grass, planting schemes, and decorative landscaping. To achieve this, we carried out extensive earth removal and excavation to reshape the space and establish strong, level foundations.
Our team installed a series of sturdy foundation posts and timber sleepers to support the tiered structure, ensuring long-lasting stability and visual appeal. A custom-built garden step system was also incorporated, improving access between levels and adding character to the garden layout.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the homeowner to ensure the finished garden was not only practical but also left plenty of creative freedom for future planting and decorative features.
The end result is a clean, open garden space that now offers structure, usability, and a blank canvas ready for personalisation. This redesign gave the outdoor area a fresh start—bringing new life and functionality to a once neglected space.
